This blog has now come full circle. I am back talking about assignments, getting them finished mainly and completing my first academic year at third level education. In the Writing for New Media module, there is one major project that I am left to complete. Creating a website.

I’ve been given some small requirements to follow:
- Be made on Google Sites Classic/New or WordPress.
- Be immersive, realistic and an original thought
- Don’t break copyright or any other intellectual property laws
I had a few ideas swirling around in my head about where to start. I needed to think of a unique idea that would stand out to my lecturers but not be too strange that it’s unrealistic. Also, It needs to be easy since I don’t work hard, I work smart. I was thinking of using Classic Google sites, but I grew frustrated with it. I transitioned the website over to New Google sites and it became much easier to build.
I have decided to make a photography website. I may have no previous experience at photography, like taking photos when I’m out and about or have a decent phone for taking pictures. The odds are stacked against me but as long as I can get my head around the technology for making the website I should be fine.
I started watching videos of how to use Google sites.

I looked at a few successful Irish photography websites. This was very useful, I noticed that it would be helpful to have a ‘Check Availability’ Page and include some reviews that may or may not be true. I even created a Twitter and added a few posts to it. https://twitter.com/FailureFuture
Last but not least I added a few photos. I thought it would be best to make it a Nature and Lifestyle photography website since I can’t meet people anymore and I live in the countryside. I am actually quite proud of my little site and if you would like to check it out, feel free to use some of the photos.

One of my own
